The University of Sydney

Symposium events will take place at the University of Sydney's Camperdown Campus, which is located just 4 km south west of Sydney's Central Business District and the Sydney Harbour.

The Campus, which is the site of Australia's first university, is an integrated mix of Victorian and contemporary buildings, set in landscaped grounds. The Symposium's events will be held in The Quadrangle, Australia's most significant group of Tudor Gothic buildings.

Most events take place in and around the University of Sydney's main Quadrangle. All sessions are held in the historic McClaurin Hall, to the south west corner of the 'Quad' and organised round table sessions are held in the McCrae room (room S418) (the south east, upper floor). Paper and discussion sessions are held on the ground floor, south eastern wing, in rooms S214 (McCrae), S224, S225, and the Philosophy Room. Morning and afternoon teas and lunch will be served in 'Cloisters' - the covered verandahs. The conference dinner is held in the Holme Refectory, a short walk from the main Quad.

The Welcome Reception is being held at the Art Gallery of NSW and subsequent informal gathering will be at the Tilbury Hotel, Woolloomoloo.
